Picked a cheap old Tamiya Panther 1/35 kit and thought I'd have some fun with it:

My little green friend....

Just finished this awesome figure from Knight Models. The figure was painted with Vallejo and Games Workshop paints while the base was weathered with AK Interactive Pigments and Armour Farm products.

Ma.K Attack!

So this puppy is done! I used Armour Farm http://armorfarm.com/ products for the base and mainly AK Interactive Mud effects for the earth tones. The snow was created by using Future Floor polish and Woodland Scenics Snow Effects:

Got some more much needed time on the bench this afternoon and decided to crack on with the Ma.K kit, hope you like it!



In pieces after priming with Vallejo's Green Brown

The mechanical areas have had a base coat of XF-69 while the armoure has been highlighted with XF-60

After the worn effects have been applied I added the camo free hand in random areas with the airbrush.

As you can see here the Worn Effects Fluid did its job, I just applied water to a stiff brush and started scratching away.

The bench needs a tidy!!

Hair of the Hund

Got the großer hund built, still got to add the clear parts and some hoses but apart from that this monster is awaiting primer :)

Recieved a preview of my Millennium Falcon Feature today from Tamiya Magazine, make sure you pick up December's issue to see the full 5 page build up of my 1/72 Falcon.

I've also got a Ma.K 1/20 Großer Hund by Hasagawa on the bench. It's a great kit and suprisingly big, I know it's 1/20 but untill you start constructing it you dont realise what a beast it is. This is my first atempt at a Ma.K kit and its long overdue, I'm not sure what colour scheme I'm going for yet but its going to banged up that's for sure and I think I want to get a white wash involved to!

All parts had to be given a good scrub in soapy water, there was loads of mold release grease on the parts.

And here's where I'm at now, hopefully you can see the seams. There's a lot of filling and sanding needed on this model, I have seen people turn them into weld lines but I'm going for the smooth look.

Hopefully full construction will be done by the end of the week then paint can start!
